While the women’s team is focused on the Training Camp in Valencia until January 22, part of the men’s team is in Australia to compete in the first race of the season on January 18. The first of these is the Critérium Villawood Men’s Classic (Saturday, January 18th), featuring riders Carlos Canal , Gregor Mühlberger , Javier Romo , Mathias Norsgaard , Manlio Moro and newcomers with the M, Diego Pescador and Natnael Tesfatsion .
In 2025, the final year of the qualification triennium, the Movistar Team men’s calendar will have over 100 races and nearly 300 days of competition, including the respective national, European, and world championships.
Notable highlights include a return to Oman with participation in two events, a journey through Brittany in May, a new classic in Andorra, and a race in the Terres de l’Ebre. Germany, Andorra, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, the UAE, Spain, France, Italy, Oman, the Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland—along with the National Championships—will see Movistar Team competing in over 20 countries.
