Fat bike riders race on Lake Bemidji during a Fat Bike Rally at Lake Bemidji State Park. BEMIDJI — The Eighth Annual Fat Bike Rally returns to Lake Bemidji State Park on Saturday, March 1.
The timed ride is open to all levels of bicyclists for 10K or 28K distances.
Riders must register at the park at 9:30 a.m. and attend a pre-race rule meeting at 10:15 a.m. at the Visitor Center. Helmets and 3.8-inch tires are required.
The mass start begins at 11 a.m. with spectators encouraged to learn more about this growing sport.
Freewill donations collected at the event will support the Trek North Mountain Bike Club and the Bemidji Composite Mountain Bike Team.
