BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The Coler Mountain Bike Preserve in Bentonville was named Arkansas Tourism Attraction of the Year at the 51st Annual Henry Awards on Tuesday, February 25.

The Preserve, a community space offered by the nonprofit Peel Compton Foundation, is dedicated to connecting the community through nature, education, recreation, and preservation.

The award ceremony took place during the Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism , which highlighted the state’s growing tourism. The award recognizes "the outstanding contribution made by individuals and organizations to promote tourism in the state," the release said.

Coler Mountain Bike Preserve has over 19 miles of trails suitable for riders of all skill levels.

"This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, volunteers, and the local community who have supported us in making Coler Mountain Bike Preserve a premier destination," said Debra Layton, Executive Director of the Peel Compton Foundation. "We strive to create an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone to explore and enjoy the great outdoors."
