In the flash interview after the race, Pogacar shared his perspective on the race. "The team did an amazing job; we executed exactly as we wanted today. Pogacar made his move not in the last lap, but in the lap before. "That was the plan. We executed it very well. I’m very happy with this victory; we did it as a team."

It was an extremely tough race on a beautiful course with nice weather, even though it was a bit too warm. But I can’t complain," chuckled the all-rounder.
