Email Print Save Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you can leave the bear spray behind — a lesson cross-country skiers in West Yellowstone were reminded of last week.Rendezvous Ski Trails, a popular trail network just outside of West Yellowstone, took to social media to warn skiers after a grizzly bear and numerous tracks were spotted on the trails.“This isn’t a normal thing, but the behavior indicated by the bear was that he was passing through the area,” said Melissa Alder, the co-owner of the West Yellowstone Nordic skiing and bicycling shop Free Heel & Wheel.
