Coloradans join thousands around the globe taking part in Winter Bike to Work Day. COLORADO, USA — Dust off your bicycle for the annual Winter to Work Day in Colorado.

Denver Regional Council of Governments, in partnership with seven regional transportation management associations, encourages commuters to bike to work on Friday, Feb. 10.

The day is meant to help riders save money on their commutes, improve their health, lower stress levels while improving congestions and pollution.

The City of Aurora is participating in Winter Bike to Work Day with a breakfast station from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the High Line Canal Trail underpass just west of Chambers Road and northeast of the Aurora Municipal Center. Riders can grab a breakfast burrito and coffee or water.

The Northeast Transportation Connection will host a breakfast station at Stanley Marketplace with coffee and churros from 6:30 to 9 a.m. Boulder
