The call for abstracts for Velo-city 2023 Leipzig is now open until 3 November 2022. ECF invites potential speakers, researchers and universities to share their expertise, data, and analyses based on this year’s main theme “Leading the Transition”.

Are you ready to lead the transition with us? Now is your chance to get involved in Velo-city 2023 Leipzig and to share your best practices, expertise, data, innovations, analyses and stories based on the principal theme “Leading the Transition”, as well as a host of other subthemes .

As with every edition, the Velo-city 2023 programme will be based on the abstracts we receive from potential speakers. Along with the general call, we have also opened an academic call for the Scientists for Cycling session , specifically addressed to researchers and universities.

If you would like to submit your abstract, please click here to download and read the guidelines. The deadline for submissions is now 3 November 2022, and abstracts will only be accepted via the official portal . How can cycling lead the transition towards the recovery of our society?

Cycling is undoubtably a simple and accessible way for everyone to initiate positive societal change and make a difference.
