Magnus Ditlev knows just what the top of the long-distance triathlon mountain looks like, and now he is going all in on finally reaching the summit.
The Danish superstar has twice come close to becoming IRONMAN World Champion, claiming third place in Nice in 2023 and second in a brutal Kona edition in 2024 .
Now Ditlev is keen to continue that trajectory to the top step on the IMWC podium when the race returns to the Cote d’Azur and Nice, France on September 14, 2025.
In 2024 Magnus split his race schedule between preparing for Kona and the new T100 series – he raced four times over that new distance and claimed a win in Miami , fourth-place finishes in San Francisco and London and eighth in the season-ending final in Dubai.

But 2025 will see the 27-year-old star sidestep T100 to focus his efforts entirely on the IRONMAN Pro Series, which will also be in its second season.
Ditlev says he has made the decision to help him put everything into his biggest goal, which is to top the podium in Nice. It also adds further spice to a fascinating Pro Series, with the likes of Norwegian icons Kristian Blummenfelt and Gustav Iden also heading in the same direction.
