Light up your bike with LED lights and in B!KE, the Peterborough Community Cycling Hub, on April 19 for the first Glow Ride of the season.
Riders should meet at 7:45 p.m. in the alleyway behind B!KE, 293 George St. The alley is only accessible from King Street. The ride departs at 8 p.m. Under Ontario law, a white front light and red tail light is required for all riders; helmets are strongly encouraged.

Volunteers are needed at One City Peterborough. The organization, located at 541 Water St., is focused on housing, food, security, safety and inclusion in the community, and aims to break down barriers and advocate for systemic change.
Several volunteer opportunities are currently available. Outreach Closet volunteers are needed to assist with the outreach closet, a program for individuals who are homeless or precariously housed to access gear, clothing, snacks and services.
Office reception volunteers are requested to help people feel welcome at the One City office, whether in person or over the phone, and assist with general tasks.Data assistance volunteers are needed to assist in processing data collected during outreach programs to write reports required by funding organization.
