(Photo / Dean Purcell) Waka Kotahi is planning to spend at least a million dollars on temporary fences along the Harbour Bridge to keep cyclists safe.

They put the fences up every time cyclists and walkers use the bridge during events next summer.

A report in 2019 recommended permanent barriers for suicide prevention… At an estimated cost of about 13 million dollars.
