Reason for Cycling: Cycling began simply as a way to introduce cardio to my new diet and lifestyle. It quickly took over my life and became one of my all time favorite hobbies.

Before I started cycling , I had other hobbies: I played video games all day, stayed up working on cars with friends eating junk food until the bright morning hours, and avoided any sleep or rest. My body ran on energy drinks and hot chips.

I had always had weight issues. It was a big issue when I had my first daughter because I didn’t have the stamina to play with her or keep up with anything she wanted to do. We had all our kids back to back, so my wife would have all the crazy food cravings, and I was always right along with her eating all the wacky things she wanted. The only problem was that when she stopped eating the snack , I finished it all off after her to avoid wasting any delicious treats.
