Keen cyclist Paul Glass, of Timaru, with his guide dog Drew and his tandem bike. His long term friend and tandem pilot Russell Shanks is stepping down, and the search is on for his replacement. A Timaru cyclist with a bicycle built for two is looking for a companion to pedal the roads with.

The trip – with his long term tandem pilot and friend Russell Shanks – took just over 20 days.

But after six years, Shanks is stepping down, and Glass is on the lookout for someone else to join him.
