Specialized just unveiled a new aluminum Stumpjumper EVO Alloy version of their popular “Ultimate Trail Bike” that debuted last fall. And it’s a full $1200 cheaper in alloy than in carbon. The trick is, the carbon trail bike went up in price a LOT in the last twelve months. So while the new aluminum bike is more affordable, this all-mountain capable 150mm travel 29er isn’t exactly cheap… 2022 Specialized Stumpjumper EVO Alloy trail bike

Specialized The all-new Specialized Stumpjumper EVO Alloy is every much the same ultra-capable trial bike as its carbon sibling, just a few hundred grams heavier and several hundred dollars cheaper. The new all-metal Stumpjumper EVO shares the same Rx Tune suspension design as the carbon bike pairing 150mm of rear wheel travel to 160mm forks, and the same handling characteristics. It even gets SWAT. 27.5/29er setup with optional MulletLink And you can still buy an aftermarket MulletLink from Specialized if you want to set your bike up with a 27.5″ rear wheel.
