Nainital: Tourists coming to Nainital would now get to experience the thrill of sky cycling as the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) has opened the facility at the Eco Cave Gardens in Sukhatal (Nainital). Sky cycling (or air cycling) is an adventure sport where one gets to ride a bicycle on a rope suspended in the air.
AP Vajpayee, general manager of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, told TOI, "This is the first sky cycling facility in Nainital. For just Rs 100, tourists can sky-cycle for 50 metres. All arrangements have been put in place to ensure the safety of tourists who opt for sky cycling."
Additionally, KMVN has also introduced a few other attractions — including a mechanical bull ride and a talking tree, among others — at the Eco Cave Gardens. The interconnected caves — tiger cave, bat cave, panther cave, and others — of the tourist attraction are popular for fauna.
