Let us know your thoughts Recently, a pensioner has said he’ll ‘go to jail’ before he pays a £100 fine he was hit with after through Victoria Street South in town.

It comes after extended the cycling ban for the town centre, as well as Cleethorpes beach, until 2025. So far, over have already been issued – with Victoria Street becoming a hotspot.

Taking to Facebook, many people seem divided over the issue. Barbara said: "There are so many youngsters who bike at top speed through town and are a danger to others, but I have never once seen them get stopped." What do you think? However, some are in support of the rules. Shaun said: "To be fair cyclists need to obey laws just the same as others."

And Jonny said: "Just pay your fine, and get off and walk like your supposed to in a no cycling area. More fines need to be handed out."
