Chloe Dygert begins her road toward the Olympic Games at the Santos Tour Down Under next month in Australia.

The American opens her busy Olympic calendar that will include a mix of road and track as the official start lists are confirmed for both the women’s and men’s races beginning the 2024 WorldTour schedules.

Dygert headlines the start list for the 24th edition of the Australian stage race that also includes Julian Alaphilippe, Caleb Ewan, Biniam Girmay , and Filippo Ganna on the men’s side, and Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, defending champion Grace Brown, and Amanda Spratt for the women’s race. Ruth Edwards also makes her return to the road after a hiatus.

“The women’s peloton also features a record number of teams and international riders, which supports our goal for continued growth in this space,” said race director Stuart O’Grady. “We’ve got some of the greatest sprinters of all time in Caleb Ewan and Elia Viviani, and I am particularly excited to see what Julian Alaphilippe does in Adelaide.

“He is one of the most electrifying riders in the peloton and I know he will want to leave his mark on the Santos Tour Down Under.”
