RideUp, the cycling subscription provider, has announced the launch of a network of 22 ‘partner’ locations – existing cycle cafes, stores and cycle workshops – offering bike subscription collection and servicing locations from the South West of England to Scottish capital, Edinburgh.
Each RideUp centre will provide personal handovers of road, gravel and ebikes and servicing by professional mechanics every 6 months, as well as refurbishing bikes to recycle back out on ‘preloved’ subscriptions. Centres will also have access to demo stock for test rides and events so local customers can try before they subscribe.
RideUp offers all inclusive monthly subscriptions including insurance and service plan from £90 per month, with minimum terms from just 6 months, so you can switch bikes with the seasons or change to the latest model when it comes out. Customers can subscribe online and collect from any RideUp centre within just a few days. The personal handover at the centre ensures the bike fits just right for each customer, but some centres can also arrange home delivery if required.
Unlike normal bike purchases, customers are not tied into long term finance plans and can cancel their subscription after the initial period and simply return it to their nearest RideUp centre. So no hassle selling your bike privately and no depreciation loss.
Should customers wish to purchase the bike, they can also pay the balance between what they have already paid and the bike’s retail price, with a free handover service provided by the centre.
