Police are appealing for information from the public after last week’s raid A collection of bikes and cycling kit believed to be worth around £25,000 was stolen from a property in Longforgan last week.
It’s believed the culprits forced their way into a shed at an address in the village’s Main Street and made off with the bikes and equipment sometime between 12am and 4am on Wednesday, March 9.
Police Scotland put out an appeal for information at the end of last week, listing the items taken during the raid in full.
An Ibis Mojo SL Raw Carbon with a red DW rear suspension linkage, white Fizik Gobi seat, Rock Shock and Crossmax SLR forks was stolen, as was a Scott Genius 700 Tuned with neon orange, red and grey writing, Fox34 Kashmia forks and abnormal three inch tyres with white writing on the tyre walls.
A Cube Stereo 160 Team Edition, blue and orange in colour with glossed raw carbon, a Cube Stereo 140 carbon frame with matt black finish and red accents and a Whyte 605 with white frame and aqua accents to the hub and stem were also taken during the raid.
A number of items of cycling equipment were also stolen including helmets, an intercom systems and two pairs of gloves.
