Buckeye Lake’s premier cycling event takes place this Saturday and is expected to attract morethan 600 cyclists from across the region. There are three routes to choose from – an 11-mile routemostly on the Buckeye Lake Dam trail, perfect for children and leisure riders, a 28-mile route that addscountryside, and a 63-mile ride that includes beautiful Dawes Arboretum for all riders who want toachieve that major milestone. New this year will be a post-ride cycling expo in addition to otherfestivities.

Basecamp for Tour de Buckeye Lake will be at the Millersport Lions Club, where registration will be held,the ride will begin and end, and where local popular musicians Big Bad Stache will be playing live from 10:30 a.. to 2:30 p.m. at the after-party.

All proceeds of Tour de Buckeye Lake go to improving biking and hiking safety as well as the continueddevelopment of a multi-purpose trail around Buckeye Lake.

Bike Buckeye Lake is a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was established in 2015 for thepurpose of developing multi-purpose trails around Buckeye Lake.

Donations to Bike Buckeye Lake go toward the measures required for trail development, such as grantapplications, land leases and acquisition, engineers and consultants, safety, maintenance, and publicityto garner support, unless donations are part of the organization’s annual Christmas Bike Drive.
