Following announcement of the Chrono Downcountry Hardtails , Mondraker is adding two aluminum models of the Raze 130mm Trail Bike; the Raze R and the Raze. The two are very similar to the Carbon Raze that debuted last year with Mondraker’s own on-board MIND Telemetry System . Sadly, these new aluminum models won’t be benefiting from the integrated suspension setup tool. However, the Stealth Aluminum frame shares a very similar capable set of geometry figures and the same suspension kinematic, built into a package that is rather more wallet-friendly. Here’s a quick overview of the Mondraker Raze Alloy mountain bikes. Short travel trail bikes with enduro-like geometry have grown in popularity in recent years; it’s no wonder the Raze is one of Mondraker’s most successful models internationally. The Raze was intended to blend the uphill pedal efficiency of the F-Podium XC Bike with the downhill capabilities of the Foxy Enduro Bike . It combines 29″ wheels with the generous reach figures of Mondraker’s Forward Geometry principles and 130mm of rear wheel travel. The Zero Suspension System delivering that sees two links working to compress a floating shock from both ends.
