Arguably one of the best trail forks on the market, the Cane Creek Helm MKII gets a limited Sunburst color option. It’s available only in their 29er chassis with 44mm offset, but with your choice of coil or air spring internals.

The Cane Creek Helm MKII uses 35mm stanchions and travel can be internally adjusted. Both the coil and air forks will come set at 160mm travel, but they’re easy to adjust. Their air spring can be adjusted with spacers in 10mm increments all the way down to 100mm travel. I’ve been running one at 130mm for years and it’s amazing, and Cane Creek does say it’s optimized for 130-160mm of travel, but you can take it lower if you want and all parts are included. The forks have separate high/low speed compression adjustments, low-speed rebound adjustment, and (for the air springs) an internal indexed air volume adjustment that lets you tune the fork’s personality to the trails before you.

Claimed weights are 2080g (air) and 2340g (coil), MSRP is $1,099 while they last.

The Helm MKII launched in 2020 and brought about updated compression circuits and slicker […]
