Kids who have never known cold weather, sledding or snow days can experience the magic of a snowfall, plus many other holiday delights on Dec. 1, when Wesley House Family Services presents its third Holiday Village and BeLighted Bike Ride at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater.
The celebration takes place from 4 to 8 p.m., when the amphitheater will be transformed into a Holiday Village, featuring over 20 community booths offering games and activities, carnival rides, bounce obstacle courses, pony rides, food truck treats and community performances. Photos with Santa will be available and kids can experience a snowfall in Key West. The Holiday Village is also the gathering point for the 7 p.m. BeLighted Bike Ride, which also includes a Best Bike Decoration contest.
The BeLighted Bike Ride is the highlight of the evening. The bike ride departs from the amphitheater at 8 p.m., creating a parade of glowing holiday cheer through the streets of Key West.
Admission is $20 per person or four tickets for $70. Children 3 are free. Those looking to showcase their creativity in the best bike contest can enter for just $30, which includes a swag bag. Tickets can be purchased at WesleyHouse.org/BeLighted2023 .
