Sea to Summit’s Spark Ultralight Sleeping Bag & Ether Light XT Insulated Pad Bikepacking quickly points you down the path to a minimalist lifestyle.

When it comes to bikepacking sleep systems, it’s all about maximal comfort for minimal weight and volume. That’s where the Sea to Summit Spark Ultralight sleeping bag and Ether Light XT Insulated came in super-handy during my bikepacking adventures this year. The Spark and Ether with the dry/compression bag for my 15 L saddlebag for reference. This is obviously pre-compression, so the combo packs down even further. There was plenty of room leftover for a change of clothing, light jacket, and other bikepacking essentials.

The Spark Ultralight sleeping bag is a down bag that comes in a variety of temperature ratings, from a basic 50°F liner to 40, 28, 18, and 5°F ratings (remember that these are generic comfort ratings, so personal preferences vary if you’re a hot or cold sleeper).
