Fraud Alert: Scam Sites Are Offering Extremely Fake Discounts on Pivot Bikes

Pivot Cycles sent out an email Wednesday altering customers to fraudulent websites and social media offers saying, “We’ve noticed deceptive websites and social media accounts luring buyers with deep discounts on Pivot bikes. Beware! These are scams.”

The company went on to say that Pivot does not sell any bicycles directly to consumers through their website. “Be cautious of sites or accounts claiming otherwise.” Pivot suggested that customers only stick to certified Pivot dealers/retailers or their official website, pivotcycles.com .

The email offered tips for avoiding scams regarding Pivot products such as:
