Primarily, those with a downhill fork that want to run their Trail/XC wheelset. Most dual-crown forks run a 20×110 thru-axle, precluding their use with most XC, Trail and Enduro wheelsets on the market. While those wheelsets run the same Boost 110mm spacing, the thru-axle is 5mm narrower.
