Raleigh Magazine shared this week there is an exciting new “express” concept being brought to us by Tyler Helikson and his team at Happy + Hale. Targeting early April, Happy + Hale will operate out of a container on an empty lot on Harrington Street at Smoky Hollow in downtown Raleigh. The idea is simple. Bring a healthy option at an affordable price to the people. To do so, the container version of Happy + Hale will feature just three bowls—two signature and one create-your-own with your choice of base, protein, toppings and sauce made from minimal clean ingredients—all priced at an even $10. Cary doesn’t have anything on Raleigh … at least when it comes to the newest park developments in both communities. If you’ve been to downtown Cary’s newest park, Downtown Cary Park, you have no doubt enjoyed a bite to eat or drink from Market 317 or The Bark Bar. Well, Raleigh Magazine shared this week that Raleigh Park Ventures will also operate similar options at Dix Park out of the historic House of Many Porches which is located next to the highly anticipated Gipson Play Plaza . The magazine noted that they will offer things such as sandwiches and wraps, coffee, baked goods, and frozen desserts—plus beer and wine available to enjoy on the great lawn.
