Through involvement with the Division of Student Affairs, Clemson students are provided opportunities to be engaged, active, well, happy and successful. They gain core competencies, such as leadership skills with involvement in student organizations, employment and internships, fraternity and sorority life, and recreational sports. Core competencies ultimately enable Clemson students to be leaders in a global society.

Campus Recreation
Students enrolled in at least six or more credit hours on main campus in the Fall semester are able to hold Campus Recreation memberships, which directly impacts the holistic experience and connects students with programs, people and experiences to reach fitness and wellness goals.
Facilities
Clemson boasts state-of-the-art recreation and wellness facilities on its campus. Swann Fitness Center at Fike sits in the heart of main campus and is home to over 250,000 square feet. It includes cardio and strength equipment, functional training space, basketball and racquetball courts, group fitness studios, a natatorium and climbing wall.
Douthit Hills Fitness Center is located in the Hub building of Clemson’s newest residential district. The center includes cardio and strength equipment, functional training space, group fitness and cycling studios.
