bike race stock BISBEE, Ariz. (KVOA) – El Tour de Zona is set to return to Cochise County this weekend, running from March 21-23, 2025. Cyclists from across the region will gather for this three-day bicycle tour and festival, with Sierra Vista serving as the event’s base.
The event will feature fully supported destination loop rides each day, accompanied by live music, food, and a craft beer garden each evening in Veterans Memorial Park. Riders will have the opportunity to explore iconic routes, including the Ramsey Canyon Preserve, Bisbee’s historic streets, and the legendary town of Tombstone.
To ensure safety, temporary road closures and traffic adjustments will be in place throughout the weekend. Cochise County is urging residents and visitors to plan ahead, drive cautiously, and share the road with cyclists.
Key routes affected include Sierra Vista to Ramsey Canyon Preserve on Friday, Sierra Vista to Bisbee on Saturday, and Sierra Vista to Tombstone on Sunday. Drivers should allow extra travel time and stay alert for cyclists along these routes.
