The Wisconsin Bike Fed Cycling Without Age Team will be visiting communities near the Ride Across Wisconsin route this Saturday and Sunday, August 20 and 21, 2022 to introduce the program and trishaw that together bring joy to those who are not able to pedal on their own. Estella Kowalewski Cycling Without Age is an international program that started in Copenhagen in 2012. Trained volunteer pilots in 58 countries have given 100,000’s of rides bringing people outside to access beautiful scenery and their community, while increasing socialization and intergenerational connections.

Residents, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, senior centers, future volunteer pilots,
cyclists, community leaders, and local businesses may visit the following locations during the scheduled
dates and times:

Saturday, August 20
Sparta: 8:00 am – 9:00 am, Chamber of Commerce, 111 Milwaukee St
Wilton: 9:30 am -10:30 am, Dorset Valley Schoolhouse Restaurant, 26147 WI-71
Elroy: 11:00 am – 11:30 am, Commons Trail Shop, 303 Railroad St
Waterloo: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, TREK Headquarters, 801 W Madison St

Sunday, August 21 Dousman: 9:00 am – 10:30 am, Bicycle Doctor, 105 N Main St #8835 Waukesha: 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, Bethesda Park, 560 Dunbar Ave Milwaukee: 2:00 am – 4:00 pm, Harley Davidson, 400 W Canal St
