Life in the Bike Lane

One of the favorite rides for local cyclists is from Lincoln to Camp Far West Lake.

It is an easy-ish route with some great scenery.

Today’s pictures are all from one ride last week on a perfect day to be on a bike.

We made a loop through Sheridan to allow us a donut shop stop, before completing our 40-mile loop.

A straight out ’n’ back via McCourtney Road would be about 25 miles.

We saved a turtle on Riosa Road, bought a basket of cherries from a little girl and were later rewarded with the sight of three Bald Eagles, both in flight and in a nest. Tom Frady is a Lincoln resident and avid cyclist and driver.
