Life in the Bike Lane
One of the favorite rides for local cyclists is from Lincoln to Camp Far West Lake.
It is an easy-ish route with some great scenery.
Today’s pictures are all from one ride last week on a perfect day to be on a bike.
We made a loop through Sheridan to allow us a donut shop stop, before completing our 40-mile loop.
A straight out ’n’ back via McCourtney Road would be about 25 miles.
We saved a turtle on Riosa Road, bought a basket of cherries from a little girl and were later rewarded with the sight of three Bald Eagles, both in flight and in a nest. Tom Frady is a Lincoln resident and avid cyclist and driver.
