The EvoPro team took part in a race in Belgium last year A professional Irish cycling team that is raising money on GoFundMe faces demands from former riders and support staff to pay €20,000 in what they say are unpaid wages and expenses.

EvoPro , a cycling team run by Morgan Fox and PJ Nolan, has set up a fundraising page seeking €150,000. It says the money will fund an academy that Cycling Ireland no longer supports because of concerns over governance.

The Sunday Times has spoken to five former EvoPro cyclists and staff who say they are owed more than €20,000. They spoke out after seeing the GoFundMe campaign and reports about Cycling Ireland’s concern about the team’s financial records.

One former mechanic, who says he has been owed €4,400 since 2019, said he texted Nolan,
