Brighton and Hove City Council is encouraging adults to take advantage of the support it offers to wannabe cyclists in the city. CYCLISTS eager to hit the road have been encouraged to book tailored courses to build up confidence on the saddle.

Brighton and Hove City Council is encouraging adults to take advantage of the support it offers to wannabe cyclists in the city.

Adult Cycle Training courses, starting from £15, can help anyone, from complete beginners looking to take up cycling for the first time, to experienced cyclists who want to brush up on their skills.

Courses are designed to develop cycling skills and to help people feel confident and comfortable on their bikes.

Councillor Steve Davis, co-chairman of the environment, transport and sustainability committee said: “These courses are a great way of getting yourself back in the saddle and building up your cycling skills and confidence.”

“It’s never too late to take up cycling or to get the old bike out of the garage. The physical and mental health benefits are fantastic, not to mention the environmental ones.”
