All prices and availability are subject to change. It’s no secret that mountain bike brands put models on sale ahead of a new release. Judging by the discounts we found on these top MTBs, we suspect that more than a few of these bikes will see a refresh this spring.

If you’re someone who needs to own the latest model, our advice is to steer clear of these bikes (unless noted below) and wait until Sea Otter in April before making a purchase decision.

On the flip side, if you’re someone who thinks today’s mountain bikes are better than they’ve ever been and ride great as-is, our advice is to take advantage of these prices while they last. Having over-ordered previously, many brands are paring down 2025 orders, which means discounts on next generation bikes are unlikely, especially in the near term.
