Since 1982, Rick Case Bikes for Kids has collected upwards of 120,000 gently used bicycles from the local community at their dealerships in Broward County and Atlanta, Georgia. For more than 40 years, bikes have been donated to children through local charitable organizations including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, Habitat for Humanity of Broward, Women in Distress and Broward County Public Schools. “We love to see the joy and smiles when these children are gifted a bike and the independence it provides them,” says Rita Case, President and CEO of the Rick Case Automotive Group. “For many kids, this is their first set of wheels. They will learn the rules of the road, which they’ll be able to apply when they reach driving age. Bike riding is fun, freeing and an excellent form of fitness.”
