Credit: URB In a major push towards a more sustainable and healthier future, Dubai-based company URB has proposed a new infrastructure project that promises to transform the city. Dubbed “The Loop”, the 93-kilometer indoor cycling and running track aims to make Dubai the most connected city in the world by foot or bike.
“The Loop” will wrap around Dubai and provide a “green corridor” for residents to walk or cycle around the city. The Loop is intended to be the “smartest” cycling and running infrastructure in the world.

The Agri Hub will cover 40 hectares of land in Dubai’s desert. It will feature a unique structure unlike any other in the world. The structure, shaped like a snake, will be formed of a large steel canopy and pre-cast concrete, with the carbon emissions offset by the operations of the site.
URB’s CEO Baharash Bagherian said, “People may misunderstand agritourism. They think it’s looking at farm equipment, looking at farms, and going to pick fruit. With this project, we’re trying to disrupt the agritourism model, so it benefits everyone.
